Each earring begins with freshly bloomed Queen Anne's Lace, hand dyed in an array of colors. The small clusters are then dried, pressed, and each floret is carefully snipped off. The tiny blooms are meticulously scattered inside of geometric frames and sealed with multiple layers of glossy (non-toxic) jewelry grade resin. Each piece is totally unique, and no two will be exactly alike.
All metalwork is handmade in studio using quality sterling silver materials. Each frame is carefully soldered together and then forged into shape by hand. The piece is then sanded, polished, and placed in a jewelry tumbler for added strength and shine. The pendant is attached to some long "threader" style sterling silver earring hooks. You simply thread the earring through your ear using the "needle" side, and sit the curved tray inside of your ear to keep the earring in place.
The small charm measures approximately 8mm x 8mm
Although this piece is waterproof, I would recommend to avoid submerging your jewelry in water when possible, and store in a dry environment away from direct sunlight. You may clean you piece with clear soap and water, then carefully pat dry.
