Each ring begins with freshly bloomed "Chocolate" Queen Anne's Lace in a natural shade of plum. The tiny clusters are dried, pressed, and each floret is carefully snipped off to be used in the ring. The tiny bloom is place inside of the ring's bezel and sealed with multiple layers of glossy (non-toxic) jewelry grade resin. The resin highlights the single bloom and protects it from deteriorating.
All metalwork is done in studio using quality sterling silver materials and classic metalsmithing techniques. Each ring is carefully soldered together and then forged into shape by hand. The piece is then sanded, polished, and placed in a jewelry tumbler for added strength and shine.
The bezel measures approximately 5.5mm.
Although this piece is waterproof, I would recommend to avoid submerging your jewelry in water when possible, and store in a dry environment away from direct sunlight. You may clean you piece with clear soap and water, then carefully pat dry. Sterling silver can be polished with a polishing pad.
