Each necklace begins with freshly bloomed Queen Anne's Lace, hand dyed in an array of colors. Every floret is dried, pressed, and snipped off the stem before being encased in resin. The tiny blooms are meticulously scattered inside of geometric frames and sealed with multiple layers of glossy, non-toxic, jewelry grade resin. The finished piece is a protected collection of miniature florals, with no two pieces being exactly alike.
All metalwork is done in studio using quality sterling silver materials. Each hexagon within the honeycomb is carefully soldered together one by one, and forged into shape by hand. The piece has been sanded, polished, and placed in a jewelry tumbler for added strength and shine. The pendant is attached to a thin yet sturdy solid sterling silver cable chain.
The pendant measures approximately 30 x 20mm.
The chain length is 20 inches.
Although this piece is waterproof, I would recommend to avoid submerging your jewelry in water when possible, and store in a dry environment away from direct sunlight. You may clean your piece with clear soap and water, then carefully pat dry.
