Each necklace begins with freshly bloomed Queen Anne's Lace and mini rosebuds. The flowers are dried and pressed, then carefully snipped up to a miniature size. The tiny blooms are meticulously scattered inside of geometric frames and sealed with multiple layers of glossy (non-toxic) jewelry grade resin. The finished piece is a protected collection of miniature florals, with no two pieces being exactly alike.
All metalwork is handmade in studio using quality sterling silver materials. Each frame is carefully soldered together and then forged into shape by hand. The piece is then sanded, polished, and placed in a jewelry tumbler for added strength and shine. The pendant is attached to a thin yet sturdy solid sterling silver cable chain.
The front side features a mix of white Queen Anne's Lace flowers and miniature rose petals, and the back side (shown in the last photo) features just the scattered rose petals.
This particular piece has a hammered texture visible on each side and was oxidized for a darker silver, rustic finish.
The pendant measures approximately 16mm x 16mm x 12mm
The chain length measures 28 inches.
Although this piece is waterproof, I would recommend to avoid submerging your jewelry in water when possible, and store in a dry environment away from direct sunlight. You may clean you piece with clear soap and water, then carefully pat dry. Oxidization may fade over time to reveal the polished sterling silver beneath it.
