Shipping in the United States (USPS):
Standard shipping in the United States normally takes 2-6 business days to arrive. A tracking number is provided and the shipping confirmation will be emailed to you once your package is shipped. Please always double check your shipping address during checkout to avoid lost or misrouted packages. Priority Mail is also an option at checkout, which delivers in 1-3 business days.
International shipping (USPS International):
Hello Halsted ships everywhere. International shipping takes anywhere from 1-3 weeks (4 weeks at the very latest) to arrive. This all depends on how far you are from the US, or how long your package will take to clear customs, etc.
How do you package/ship your orders?
All orders are shipped from Chicago, IL via USPS (unless otherwise requested by you) I pack all of my jewelry up in decorated kraft jewelry boxes, ready for gifting. Orders are shipped inside of corrugated boxes that you can decide to either reuse or recycle. I do not include invoices, or other paperwork detailing prices. Most of my packaging consists of kraft paper that can be reused or recycled.
Do international orders come with tracking?
Tracking on international orders is partial and can only track the package up until it leaves the US. So please note that the tracking number may stop updating once the package reaches your country. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you once your package is shipped.
Please contact me if you'd like to make a return and I'll provide you with the return address and info. Returns must be sent back within 7 days of you receiving your package, unworn, undamaged, and in the original gift boxing. I will issue you a refund as soon as I receive the package from you. Shipping fees will not be refunded and the buyer is responsible for return postage. Candles can not be returned if they've been lit or tampered with. I will inspect the return package first before issuing a refund.
What happens if my package is lost or damaged in transit?
In the rare event that this happens, please contact me right away. These incidents will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, but I will do everything in my power to correct the situation for you. Hello Halsted is not responsible for lost packages in cases when the buyer provided the wrong address. Please always double check your shipping address before checking out, and email me right away if any changes need to be made before your package is shipped.
What's the best way to care for my jewelry?
Avoid submerging your jewelry in water whenever possible. Keep your jewelry safe and clean by removing it before using any chemicals, perfumes, cleaning agents, hair sprays, etc. Please also be aware of body lotions/oils on your skin that are making contact with your jewelry. Store your jewelry in a dry area, away from direct sunlight. If needed, you can wash your jewelry with clear soap and water, and gently dry it off. Fingerprints and smudges can be wiped off easily with a lens cloth.
Do you take custom orders?
Unfortunately, at this time I cannot complete any custom order requests. I will post updates asap if that ever changes.
