Shipping in the US:
Shipping in the United States normally takes 2-6 business days to arrive. A tracking number is provided and the shipping confirmation will be emailed to you once your package is shipped. Please always double check your shipping address during checkout to avoid lost or misrouted packages. You may also select a Priority Mail upgrade at checkout, which takes 1-3 business days. 

Do you ship outside the US? How long does it take?
Hello Halsted ships everywhere. International shipping takes anywhere from 1-3 weeks (4 weeks at the very latest) to arrive. This all depends on how far you are from the US, or how long your package will take to clear customs, etc.   

Do international orders come with tracking? 
Tracking on international orders is partial and can only track the package up until it leaves the US. So please note that the tracking number may stop updating once the package reaches your country. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you once your package is shipped.

What method of payment do you accept?
I accept PayPal and payments with credit/debit cards.

I placed multiple orders, can I have them combined and shipped together?
Of course! Please send me an email with your order numbers and I'll combine them for you. Your orders will then be shipped together in the same package. Shipping overages of $3 or more will be refunded to you. 
How do you package/ship your orders?
All orders are shipped from Chicago, IL via USPS (unless otherwise requested by you) I pack all of my jewelry up in sturdy kraft jewelry boxes (ready for gifting) and ship them inside of padded mailing envelopes. Please note - in an effort to be more eco friendly, I do not include business cards, receipts, or any excess paper that will be thrown away. If you need a business card for any reason please let me know and I'll include one for you. 

Why was I charged an additional fee to accept my package?
If you are an international buyer (outside of the United States) please make sure you are aware of your countries customs policies on imported goods. Some packages may be subject to additional fees or taxes before you can collect them, and these fees are the responsibility of the buyer. It is illegal for a seller to mark a package as "gift" in order to avoid these fees.

How often do you post new items?
I post a new batch of items in my shop about once every month. I only post items that are complete and ready to ship, so that I can get them out to you as quickly as I can after your order is placed. I update my website and Instagram with the time/date that I'll be posting my next batch a few days ahead of time so everyone has a heads up. You can also sign up for my newsletter at the bottom of this page to receive email updates when new items become available. 

What's your return policy?

Please contact me if you'd like to make a return and I'll provide you with the return address and info. Returns must be sent back within 7 days of you receiving your package, unworn, undamaged, and in the original gift boxing. I will issue you a refund as soon as I receive the package from you. Shipping fees will not be refunded and the buyer is responsible for return postage. I do not do trades, late returns, or exchanges.

What happens if my package is lost or damaged in transit?
In the unlikely event that this happens, please contact me right away. These incidents will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, but I will do everything in my power to correct the situation for you. Hello Halsted is not responsible for lost packages in cases when the buyer provided the wrong address. Please always double check your shipping address before checking out, and email me right away if any changes need to be made before your package is shipped. 

What's the best way to care for my jewelry?
Avoid submerging your jewelry in water whenever possible. Keep your jewelry safe and clean by removing it before using any chemicals, perfumes, cleaning agents, hair sprays, etc. Please also be aware of body lotions/oils on your skin that are making contact with your jewelry. Store your jewelry in a dry area when not in use (do not store it in the bathroom). If needed, you can wash your jewelry with clear soap and water, and gently dry it off immediately. If there is a fingerprint or smudge on the resin, you can wipe it off easily with a lens cloth. 

Does brass tarnish? How do I polish it back up?
Brass naturally darkens as it ages. How fast it ages depends on how you take care of your jewelry, your skin type, and several other factors. Many people enjoy the look of aged brass, but if you prefer a more polished piece you can very easily brighten it back up. I would recommend using a polishing pad (I will include these with certain items) but it's also a great idea to invest in a Sunshine Polishing Cloth for your jewelry. These are very inexpensive, super long lasting, and can easily be found on Amazon.com. You can use these to polish up brass, sterling silver, gold, and rose gold jewelry. When polishing your jewelry, just remember not to rub the cloth on any of the resin parts, as that can dull the glossy finish of the resin. Be sure to carefully wipe or wash off any residue from the cloth.

How do I care for oxidized sterling silver?
If your sterling silver piece has an oxidized (dark silver) finish on it, the best way to keep that finish in tact is to keep your jewelry away from water. Oxidization may fade over time from normal wear, revealing the polished sterling silver underneath. If at any time you'd like to restore the dark silver rustic finish on your piece, please feel free to send me an email and I can do an oxidization touch up for you. 

I keep missing your new batches, can you just reserve an item for me? Can I pre-order?
I receive a lot of requests for reserved items and pre-orders. While I'd love to do that for you, it wouldn't be fair for me to pick and choose who gets to reserve an item and who has to wait for me to release them regularly in my shop. So I operate in the fairest way I can, which is on a first come, first served basis. I always update my blog and Instagram with the exact time and date that new batches will be released, so you have the same opportunity as everyone else to snag something. I understand it's more difficult if you're in a different time zone or work during specific hours, which is why I try to change up the times that I post (sometimes I will post in the morning, sometimes in the evening)

Do you take custom orders?
Unfortunately, at this time I cannot complete any custom order requests. I will post updates asap if that ever changes. I appreciate your understanding!

I do not accept wholesale orders or sell my items on any other platform aside from my website.
